This Gamecock was named "THE GENERAL", after Gen. Thomas Sumter, Revolutionary War Hero, Sumter, S.C.   The Spirit of South Carolina is felt when viewing this, larger than lifesize Sculpture.  The natural colors of copper, when properly heated, brings out the life-like qualities that cannot be captured with any other medium.
